The Power Quality – exercise instructions are primarily intended for students in the Power Electronics Systems program. These instructions support the preparation and completion of exercises and laboratory measurements in the Power Quality course. Additionally, they may be useful for anyone interested in addressing the issue of voltage quality in electrical networks.
The scripts align with the course syllabus for Power Quality, primarily aiming to reinforce and expand upon the material covered in the lectures.
Users are expected to possess a foundational knowledge of theoretical electrical engineering, electrical measurement techniques, power transmission, and the course curriculum. Familiarity with standard measuring instruments and proficiency in using them, along with basic measurement methods, is also assumed. The exercises are designed to promote significant independent work. Task assignments during the exercises are structured so that the individual components build upon one another.
The scripts include both solved examples and additional unsolved examples for practice. The final results for these unsolved examples are provided to aid self-assessment.
